Camp Work Day
MAY 2, 2026 • 8AM - 4PM
A Few Hours of Work = A Summer Full of Impact
Help us get Sylvan Hills Christian Service Camp ready for another incredible summer! Each year, volunteers come together to prepare the grounds and buildings for the upcoming camp season.
Whether you’re handy with tools, enjoy outdoor work, or just want to lend a helping hand, there will be projects for every skill level. From simple cleanup tasks to repair & building projects, every bit of help makes a difference.
When you arrive, you’ll see a list of available projects, and all tools and materials will be provided. Feel free to work on your own, with friends, or join a small team tackling a project together.
No experience is required — just a willingness to help.

Bring the Family
Camp Workday is a great opportunity to serve together. Families are welcome, and there will be projects suitable for kids, teens, and adults. It’s a fun way to spend time at camp while helping prepare for the summer season.
Food & Fellowship
To help fuel the work, we’ll start the morning with a light breakfast, and later enjoy a hearty lunch together. It’s a great opportunity not only to serve but also to spend time in fellowship with others who love camp.
Why It Matters
The work done on this day helps prepare the place where campers will meet Christ, build friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.
